What if the organization does not exist anymore?

There are some exceptions; some clients want to verify work experience anyway, even if the candidate no longer works for the organization. 

You can check if this applies to you, by checking if you can indicate that you do not have a referee available. If you cannot choose for this, you are required to fill in contact details. Here, candidates are allowed to enter a referent outside the organization.  If the company no longer exists, the candidate can provide a business e-mailaddress of a contact person with whom they have worked with and/or can confirm the employment.
