Upload a colour scan or photo of a valid proof of identity, this should be a passport, ID card or Dutch residence document. The copy will only be used for screening purposes and will be automatically removed from our system after 10 working days. Driving licences are not accepted as proof of identity.
To upload your identity document, please follow these steps:
- Log in at https://screening.validatagroup.com
- Click on ‘Go to screening
- Go to ID check Verification of identity document
- Scan the QR code with your phone or copy the link to your mobile browser
- You can only perform the check on a smartphone or recent mobile device (tablet, IPad)
- Press start and read the instructions
- Select the country of issue
- Choose which identity document you will upload
- Place your identity document in the box. Note! If you have an ID card, you will need to photograph the front and back > make sure everything is visible and do not block anything, follow the instructions given by the check
- Use a calm background in one colour (no busy prints)
- Then take a selfie if asked to do so
- Do not forget to submit the check
Tips for a correct upload:
- Scan the QR code and follow the instructions
- When you open the preview, the photo should be sharp. Unsharp photos will be rejected by definition
- All four corners of the document should be visible
- Do not take a photo of a photo, you should upload a real-time photo of the ID document
- The photo should be taken in sufficient daylight without busy backgrounds and light flashes
